Duncan Keith Returns To Lineup On Wednesday
5 years agoChicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith has been cleared to rejoin his teammates on the ice to take on the visiting Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday. The 36-year-old had missed the previous nine games due to a groin injury suffered on November 29th. Keith's return should be a large boost for a Blackhawks team that has dropped four of its past five contests. As the three-time Stanley Cup Champ has entered his mid-thirties, his production has expectedly decreased quite significantly - making him an attractive blueliner in deep fantasy leagues. Keith still logs big minutes (23:01 this season) but has registered just six points (one goal, five assists) and 37 shots through 25 games. He'll look to turn back the clock and get on the scoresheet on Wednesday versus a formidable Avalanche squad.
