Duke Johnson Puts Up 80 Scrimmage Yards And A Score
4 years agoHouston Texans running back Duke Johnson enjoyed a bounce-back game in a win over Detroit. Johnson carried the ball eight times for 37 rushing yards and caught three of four targets for 43 receiving yards and a touchdown. He couldn't get much going on the ground against a beatable run defense, which was a bit disappointing, though it was nice to see him find the end zone. He did have a touchdown stolen by backup C.J. Prosise, though that shouldn't take away from Johnson's good effort. There's a chance that starter David Johnson (head) returns next week, which would put Duke Johnson back in a complementary role. Either way, a Week 13 matchup with Indianapolis is not one to target for running backs.
