Drey Jameson Picks Up Win Over Dodgers
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Drey Jameson earned a win on Friday night over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the team's 6-3 victory. Jameson went 2 1/3 innings in relief of starter Madison Bumgarner and didn't allow a hit or a run while walking one and striking out one. The 25-year-old right-hander has now won two games and picked up his first career save in his first three appearances out of the bullpen in 2023. The D-backs chose to keep Jameson in the bullpen in a multi-inning role instead of sending him to the minors after he missed out on a starting rotation spot out of spring training, and the decision is paying off. He'll need to start issuing fewer free passes (five walks in 8 1/3 innings), but for now he's worth a look in deep holds leagues.
