5 months agoChicago White Sox rookie right-hander Drew Thorpe (1-1) allowed two hits and four walks while striking out five over six scoreless innings to earn the win in Saturday's 5-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers. He cruised to his first victory by tossing six scoreless frames. The 24-year-old threw 94 pitches, landing 47 for strikes, including generating 10 swinging strikes. He owns a 5.02 ERA, 1.53 WHIP, and a 9:11 K: BB across 14 1/3 innings in 2024. Thorpe will look to build on Saturday's performance and is mainly a streamer in deep leagues in a tough matchup against the Atlanta Braves on Thursday.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
