2 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Drew Rucinski (hamstring) has resumed throwing on Thursday. Manager Mark Kotsay mentioned that the organization is hopeful that Rucinski will be ready by Opening Day. However, he also said he's going to let things play out considering hamstring issues do have a tendency to linger. The 34-year-old reinvented himself while pitching in Korea over the last few years. He hasn't pitched in the MLB since 2018, but hopefully his success from overseas will carry over to the states. Rucinski is mainly only worth looking at in AL-only formats.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
