Drew Romo Continues To Hit In High-A
3 years agoColorado Rockies catcher prospect Drew Romo put together one of his best games as a professional on Tuesday for High-A Spokane. The 20-year-old went 2-for-3 with a triple, home run, walk and a career-high five RBI. The young backstop has really taken a liking to High-A pitching and is now hitting .318 with three home runs and 28 RBI. Drafted as the 35th overall selection in 2020, Romo has done nothing but hit in two seasons of professional ball. Romo is known to be a great defender behind the plate, but he has also shown the ability to show very impressive plate discipline and more power should come from the lefty as his body matures. Likely a few years away from making an impact in big leagues, Romo is only a name for dynasty managers to check in on at the moment.
