7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz (forearm) will be activated from the disabled list and is set to start against the Athletics on Friday, according to Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe. He pitched 5 1/3 innings with two earned runs on four hits and four strikeouts in his recent rehab start. Generally, you'd be cautious about putting a starting pitcher fresh off the DL directly into your lineup.
