Drew Lock Throws Three Interceptions Friday
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock missed the previous preseason game due to COVID-19 and was expected to play the majority of the snaps during the team's preseason finale Friday night. The 25-year-old went 13-for-24 in the team's 27-26 loss to the Cowboys, finishing with 171 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. The former Denver Bronco has a huge arm but can sometimes be reckless with the ball. Shortly after Friday night's game, head coach Pete Carroll announced that Geno Smith would be the team's starter in Week 1 against the Broncos. Although Smith is starting Week 1, there is still a chance Lock will start a few games down the stretch, as these two have been battling for the QB1 spot all offseason. Smith will be a low-end QB2 this year, while Lock should be left on the waiver wire.
