Drew Lock Still In Walking Boot, Won't Practice On Thursday
49 seconds agoNew York Giants quarterback Drew Lock (heel, elbow) remains in a walking boot and will not take part in practice on Thursday, according to head coach Brian Daboll. Lock also missed practice on Monday, and the Giants have already said this week that Tommy DeVito is on track to start in Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens now that he is past his right-forearm injury. The 28-year-old Lock was injured in the Week 14 loss to the New Orleans Saints and was disappointing in his second straight start, going 21-for-49 for 227 yards, no touchdowns and an interception. DeVito made his first start of the year in the Week 12 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was also underwhelming, going 21-for-31 for 189 yards without a TD or interception. Baltimore's defense has been vulnerable in 2024, but DeVito isn't anything more than a low-end QB2 desperation play in superflex leagues.
