Drew Lock Has Another Underwhelming Performance
4 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock went 24-for-47 for 264 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in the 19-16 loss to the division-rival Chargers in Week 16, but he did run the ball five times for 15 yards and a touchdown to somewhat salvage his below-average performance. Lock has thrown 15 interceptions and lost four fumbles in his second season. There's been more bad than good in 2020, but rookie first-round receiver Jerry Jeudy didn't help Lock's cause by dropping five passes on Sunday, including a potential touchdown. Denver isn't giving up on Lock in the long run, but fantasy managers in redraft leagues never had a reason to look his way this year. The Missouri product will have to clean up his accuracy and decision-making issues going into 2021. He'll be a low-end QB2 to close out the season against the Raiders in Week 17. Lock threw a season-high four interceptions in a blowout loss to Las Vegas in Week 10.
