1 year agoSan Diego Padres right-hander Drew Carlton (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Monday. Carlton has been dealing with inflammation in his right elbow and has been sidelined since early July. The team made a few other moves on Monday, promoting Ben Gamel from Triple-A and placing Ji-Man Choi (ribs) on the 10-day injured list. Carlton has a 2-1 record and a 4.35 ERA across 20 2/3 innings of work in 2023. He will be eligible to be reinstated from the IL on September 1.--Matt T - RotoBaller
