4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees gets a good matchup against the Chargers in Week 5. Brees has quieted some of the take about his potential decline over the last two weeks, with 534 passing yards and five scores compared to just one interception. The veteran signal-caller will get to face a Los Angeles defense that was just shredded by Tom Brady for 369 passing yards and five touchdowns. It should be noted that the Chargers were pretty stingy against the pass prior to that game, though injuries have made them more vulnerable. Brees probably won't throw for five scores, though he profiles as a low-end QB1/high-end QB2 for this matchup.--Tim Capurso
