4 years agoThe Cardinals Defense got a much-needed addition this weekend with the signing of veteran cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick. The team recently placed veteran cornerback Robert Alford (pectoral) on Injured Reserve and were in need of support at the position. Kirkpatrick will likely start alongside fellow veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson with second-year corner Byron Murphy Jr. also in the mix. The Cardinals defense allowed 27.6 points per game last year, the fifth most in the league. With the team's high-octane offense, their defense will likely be involved in a number of shootouts this year, making them a tough unit to trust for fantasy purposes.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
