Drake London A Low-End WR1 Vs. The Steelers
2 months agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London is a low-end WR1 heading into Week 1 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. London is in his third season, where stud wide receivers have historically made the biggest leaps in their game. There is a lot of excitement surrounding this new-look Atlanta Falcons team with a rookie head coach, Raheem Morris, and veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins (Achilles) at the head of the table. Lots of fantasy managers are hoping London could be the new Justin Jefferson in Cousins' offense, but with Cousins coming off the torn Achilles injury and another year older, tempered expectations would be wise to start the season. Nonetheless, with the upgrade at quarterback, the expected high volume, and the fact the Steelers are much more vulnerable in the air than on the ground, the 23-year-old former USC Trojan should be slated in all fantasy starting lineups for this Week 1 matchup at home. London is 11th among all wideouts in the latest RotoBaller wide receiver rankings and is a mist-start in all league formats.
