Doug Pederson Remains Confident In Carson Wentz
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz had a rough game in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns. Wentz completed 21 of 35 passes for 235 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the game. He was also sacked five times. In an interview after the game, head coach Doug Pederson was asked if Wentz would start next week and Pederson said "No questions about it. He's our starter." It's been an uneven season for Wentz, but there certainly still doesn't seem to be any indication that rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts will be replacing him as the starter anytime soon.
