Doug Martin Plays Well, Not Enough To Help Offense
6 years agoOakland Raiders running back Doug Martin posted a solid stat line in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. Martin ended with 15 carries for 61 yards, which is good for 4.1 yards per carry. This now makes three straight games where Martin is averaging over four yards per carry, showing he is replacing the injured Marshawn Lynch well so far. He has yet to find the end zone this season, but that is more of a product of the offense being so ineffective overall. The Raiders will be on the road next week to take on the Cardinals in what should be a game with limited fantasy value.
