Doug Ghim Regaining Form Ahead Of Scottish Open
1 year agoDoug Ghim made his sixth straight cut en route to a T26 finish at last week's John Deere Classic. He has shown significant improvement in his short game during that six-event stretch, while also gaining strokes ball-striking in every single event. Ghim has the requisite all-around skills to compete at The Renaissance Club, ranking second in the field in driving accuracy while also coming in the top 40 in overall strokes gained off-the-tee, on approach, and around-the-green in the last 24 rounds. In his only Scottish Open start here last year, he gained 5.85 strokes putting and finished tied for 16th place. If he can marry a hot putter with his solid tee-to-green play this week, Ghim could reward fantasy managers with his fifth top-20 performance of 2023.
