Donte DiVincenzo Inks Two-Year Deal To Join Warriors
2 years agoPoint/shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo has reportedly signed a two-year contract worth $9.3 million to join the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. DiVincenzo became an unrestricted free agent after Sacramento chose not to extend a qualifying offer on the 25-year-old, opting instead to acquire new backcourt talent in Malik Monk and Kevin Huerter. Golden State has been dealing with a shuffle of their own, losing Gary Payton II in free agency, before landing DiVincenzo, who averaged nine points, four rebounds, and 2.8 assists across 42 outings last year between the Bucks and Kings. DiVincenzo brings ample playoff experience, having started 66 regular-season games during Milwaukee's champion year in 2020-21.
