D'onta Foreman Underwhelming With Full Workload
1 year agoWith Chicago Bears running backs Khalil Herbert (ankle) and Roschon Johnson (concussion) sidelined on Sunday, D'Onta Foreman was in line for a full workload against the Vikings. The Bears' running back had 15 carries, accumulating 65 yards, but managed just one reception for two yards and failed to score a touchdown, resulting in an underwhelming performance in Sunday’s 19-13 loss to Minnesota. Herbert was placed on injured reserve on Friday, and if Johnson cannot return in Week 7, Foreman will likely see another start. The Bears will face the Raiders next week, a team that has allowed the 15th most points to running backs this season. However, the outlook may be dimmed as Justin Fields (hand) left the game late with a hand injury. Game scripts without Fields may not favor running backs. Foreman could have value next week if his counterparts remain unavailable, but otherwise, he may be better suited on fantasy benches.
