D'Onta Foreman Held In Check In Week 17 Loss
D'Onta Foreman turned 13 carries into 35 rushing yards in a Week 17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers were unable to get much going on the ground in this one and relied heavily on quarterback Sam Darnold, who passed for a season-high of 341 yards. It's been an up-and-down campaign for Foreman during his time as a starter. Carolina was officially eliminated from playoff contention with the loss on Sunday, but the 26-year-old back will have one more opportunity this season against the New Orleans Saints in Week 18.

D'Onta Foreman An RB3 In Week 18
D'Onta Foreman led the team in rushing in a Week 17 loss to the Miami Dolphins. With both Jerome Ford (ankle) and Pierre Strong Jr. (concussion) ruled out for a Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, Foreman is expected to operate as Cleveland's lead back in the season finale. The Ravens have been tough on running backs this season, allowing just the 25th-most fantasy points per game to the position. They also have something to play for as they can lock up the AFC North and a first-round home game with a win over the Browns. Foreman should see decent volume but his ceiling is capped in a tough matchup, making him a mid-range RB3 for fantasy this weekend.

D'Onta Foreman Leads Cleveland In Rushing In Week 17
D'Onta Foreman carried the ball 13 times for 49 yards but failed to corral either of his two targets in a 20-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 17. Foreman was pressed into service with Jerome Ford injuring his ankle during the second quarter. While Ford was ultimately cleared to return to the game after halftime, he did not record a touch as the Browns stuck with Foreman as their lead running back for the remainder of the contest. Foreman would theoretically be in line to lead the backfield in Week 18's season finale against the Baltimore Ravens if Ford's ankle keeps him out of action. Stay tuned.

D'Onta Foreman Can Be Avoided
D'Onta Foreman could see more snaps in the backfield with lead back Nick Chubb (foot) done for the season. Jerome Ford takes over as the primary back with Pierre Strong Jr. and Foreman to be the backups. It's worth noting that Foreman hasn't rushed the ball since Week 8, but with Chubb gone he could be more in the mix. However, a three-back committee is not a fun situation for fantasy managers. It's hard to imagine Strong or Foreman being a viable option ahead of the Week 16 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

D'Onta Foreman A Healthy Scratch For Third Straight Week
D'Onta Foreman is a healthy scratch on Thursday night for the third straight week against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. Now that Jerome Ford is back to full health, Foreman has fallen to fourth on the RB depth chart in Cleveland behind Nick Chubb, Ford and Pierre Strong Jr. As long as none of the trio are injured against Pittsburgh, Foreman figures to be a healthy scratch again in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos. The 28-year-old opened the 2024 campaign with a bigger role alongside Ford while Chubb recovered from a gruesome knee injury the year prior. In eight games in his first year with the Browns, Foreman hasn't been very effective, averaging a weak 3.4 yards per carry for 155 rushing yards and no touchdowns on 46 rushing attempts. He's added five catches for 46 yards.
