Donovan Mitchell Scores 27 Points In 27 Minutes
4 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell had a strong game in a blowout win over the short-handed Nets on Wednesday. Mitchell dropped 27 points in just 27 minutes, making at least 11 field-goal attempts and five triples on efficient shooting for the second straight game. The 24-year-old racked up seven assists, six rebounds and a steal despite sitting for most of the fourth quarter. Mitchell has been excellent over his last four contests, with averages of 32.5 points, 6.3 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game, all while having to sit in each of his last two games because of the large lead the Jazz had built. He should be counted on in DFS lineups on Friday against the Grizzlies, as they've allowed 25-plus points to the opposing shooting guard in three of their last four games.
