Josh Donaldson Progressing Well, Troy Tulowitzki to be Evaluated
7 years agoToronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson is doing well in his rehab from right shoulder inflammation, as he's already been hitting and running the bases for several days. Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, a fellow All-Star, is going to be evaluated by a foot specialist next week to determine how his recovery from offseason foot surgery is healing. While Donaldson looks like he could be back in a week or so, it's harder to determine a timeline for Tulo, as he hasn't participated in any baseball activities yet this season. With the left side of the infield still out of commission, look for Aledmys Diaz and Yangervis Solarte to keep getting the bulk of the starts at short and third, respectively. Donaldson must remain stashed in all formats, but Tulo should only be held onto in deeper AL-only leagues.
