Dominic Smith Hits 10th Homer On Wednesday
4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder/first baseman Dominic Smith went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the Mets 8-5 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday. Smith's homer was his 10th of the season. He is now slashing .314/.377/.615 through 48 games (45 starts) with 10 homers, 42 RBI, 19 doubles and a .992 OPS in what has become a bonafide breakout campaign. Heading into the final weekend of the 2020 season, the Mets will likely keep Smith's bat in the lineup despite the fact they are unlikely to qualify for postseason play. Smith should remain active in all formats for managers making their last push for a fantasy title. His dynasty/keeper and redraft value for 2021 has substantially increased based upon this 2020 breakout which follows a successful part-time 2019 campaign.
