Domingo Santana Extends Hitting Streak To Six
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Domingo Santana went 1-for-4 on Sunday in the 3-2 loss to the New York Mets. During his five-game hitting streak, Santana has gone 8-for-25 for a .320 batting average and has also walked three times in that span. Despite all these hits being singles, Santana is displaying his ability to get on base and put the bat on the ball as he has now upped his season batting average to .281 with an OPS of .657. His first home run has still yet to come, but considering he hit a career-high 30 last season, he will probably start extending his base hits as the weather gets warmer.
