Domantas Sabonis Struggles With Shot In Losing Effort
4 years agoIndiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis nearly notched a double-double, though it was not one of his strongest performances in Sunday's loss to Utah. Sabonis shot just 36.8 percent from the field but delivered a full line with nine rebounds, two assists, two triples, two blocks, and one steal despite fouling out of the game. He's been held under his average field-goal percentage in each of his last two games, though he was riding a hot streak before this, so it's not much of a concern. Plus, Sabonis will have a back-to-back this week on Wednesday/Thursday against the Nets and Pistons, two teams that struggle on the defensive end. Expect him to be more efficient in both matchups.
