The three-time All-Star was injured during Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets. Sacramento plans to provide an update on Sabonis' status in one week. Domantas Sabonis remained in triple-double mood in Monday's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, finishing a 110-96 victory with 21 points, 22 rebounds, and 10 assists. Sabonis, who shot 8-for-10 from the field Monday, has now posted triple-doubles in back-to-back outings for the first time this season. He boasts seven triple-doubles for the campaign, tying him for the third-most in the league, behind
LeBron James (9) and
Nikola Jokic (21). In his next outing, Sabonis has a chance to extend his triple-double streak to three games against a
Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers team. He last managed more than two triple-doubles on the bounce in February 2024.

Domantas Sabonis (illness) has been labeled as questionable for Saturday's contest against the Lakers. He sat out Thursday's game against Detroit due to an illness and didn't practice on Friday. Filling in for Sabonis as the starting center,
Alex Len went for four points, six rebounds, and two blocks in 23 minutes against the Pistons.
Trey Lyles, who finished with 20 points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench, also has more playing opportunities without Sabonis.
