3 years agoIndiana Pacers power forward/center Domantas Sabonis (calf) and point guard Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) will both be unavailable for Thursday's contest against Houston. The absence for Sabonis will mark his first of the season, while Brogdon's is a perpetuation of the Achilles soreness that forced him from Tuesday's outing. Without the team's top two scorers, look for Caris LeVert and Myles Turner to carry elevated offensive roles, while Kelan Martin and Brad Wanamaker should slide into more minutes in place of Sabonis and Brogdon, respectively. The next chance for Indiana's premier assets to get back into action comes Sunday vs. the Bulls.--Jesse Borek

5 days agoSacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) will return to the lineup on Friday against the Phoenix Suns. He has shaken off a questionable tag ahead of the action and is ready to rejoin the fun after sitting out the past six games. Jonas Valanciunas filled in admirably for Sabonis during his time out, but he will shift back to a bench role on Friday. Sabonis makes his comeback in a good spot, as the Suns have been battered by centers all year. They allow the fourth-most points to the position and the fifth-most rebounds.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

6 days agoAccording to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) won't return to the floor for Thursday's matchup with the Golden State Warriors. Sabonis will be sidelined for the sixth straight game due to a left-hamstring strain. Despite carrying the unavailable tag for Thursday's contest, the big man went through a full practice on Wednesday, meaning he will return soon. Fantasy managers should be satisfied with the news of Sabonis potentially coming back earlier than initially thought since he was ruled out indefinitely just a week ago with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

1 week agoSacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) went through full practice on Wednesday and has been listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. This is fantastic news for the Kings and fantasy managers alike, considering Sabonis was ruled out indefinitely just a week ago with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. Jonas Valanciunas has had a strong run as Sacramento's starting center lately but will have to drop back to the bench on Thursday if Sabonis is ready to return to action.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoSacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain and will be out indefinitely, the team announced. The three-time All-Star was injured during Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets. Sacramento plans to provide an update on Sabonis' status in one week. Losing Sabonis is a significant setback for the Kings, but they have a capable replacement in Jonas Valanciunas, who is expected to take over as a starter in his absence. Valanciunas has averaged 13.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks this season as a starter.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
