4 years agoIndiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis was everywhere in Thursday's win over Detroit, finishing his night with 26 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, three steals, and two blocks. He shot 9-for-14 from the field and 6-for-7 at the line. Sabonis, who was 2-for-4 from downtown on Thursday, had been in a bit of a slump lately with his recent outings including an eight-point dud against New Orleans, but it sure looks like he snapped out of it now. He'll need all the momentum he can get for the next matchup against the Hawks, whose frontcourt with John Collins and Clint Capela is a nightmare to play against.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 days agoAccording to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) won't return to the floor for Thursday's matchup with the Golden State Warriors. Sabonis will be sidelined for the sixth straight game due to a left-hamstring strain. Despite carrying the unavailable tag for Thursday's contest, the big man went through a full practice on Wednesday, meaning he will return soon. Fantasy managers should be satisfied with the news of Sabonis potentially coming back earlier than initially thought since he was ruled out indefinitely just a week ago with a Grade 1 hamstring strain.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

5 days agoSacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) went through full practice on Wednesday and has been listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. This is fantastic news for the Kings and fantasy managers alike, considering Sabonis was ruled out indefinitely just a week ago with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. Jonas Valanciunas has had a strong run as Sacramento's starting center lately but will have to drop back to the bench on Thursday if Sabonis is ready to return to action.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoSacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain and will be out indefinitely, the team announced. The three-time All-Star was injured during Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets. Sacramento plans to provide an update on Sabonis' status in one week. Losing Sabonis is a significant setback for the Kings, but they have a capable replacement in Jonas Valanciunas, who is expected to take over as a starter in his absence. Valanciunas has averaged 13.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks this season as a starter.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

2 weeks agoSacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The big man will miss this game after suffering a hamstring injury during Saturday's game. The Kings have decided to take the cautious approach and hold Sabonis out of this contest. In his absence, Jonas Valanciunas figures to move into the starting five. The 32-year-old notched a double-double in 29 minutes of action on Saturday. Valanciunas is worth streaming while Sabonis is sidelined.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
