5 years agoThe Miami Dolphins selected Boise State defensive end Curtis Weaver with the No. 164 overall pick in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. Weaver lacks first-step quickness and closing speed as a pass-rusher, but he uses his hands effectively and is disruptive in the running game as well. The 6-foot-2, 265-pounder, like most picks at this stage on defense, is inconsistent with his pad level, so he'll need to clean that up in the NFL if he wants to keep a roster spot with Miami. But he could develop into an underrated pass-rusher in Miami. They certainly need it after finishing last in sacks in 2019 as a team.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
