Dolphins Looking At Top Running Back Prospects
5 years agoThe Miami Dolphins have invited three of this year's top running back prospects -- Ohio State's J.K. Dobbins, Georgia's D'Andre Swift and Florida State's Cam Akers -- for three of their 30 permitted non-local prospect visits. Dobbins was the only one able to make it to Miami's team headquarters before the NFL shut down because of the coronavirus. LSU's Clyde Edwards-Helaire is also a potential target of the Dolphins in the draft after the team did a video session with him. Wisconsin's Jonathan Taylor was taken to dinner by running backs coach Eric Studesville the night before his Pro Day. All of these backs are expected to go in the first two days of the draft, and any one of them could be paired with Jordan Howard in the backfield in their rookie season.
