2 years agoThe Miami Dolphins defense is gearing up for Week 18 versus the New York Jets. After a strong start, Miami stumbled and now needs a win (plus help from other AFC teams) to secure a playoff berth. The Dolphins have the odds stacked against them since they are starting Skylar Thompson, but the Jets aren't in a great place, either. New York intends to start Joe Flacco, who tossed five touchdowns and one pick through the first two games of 2022 before surrendering two interceptions and two fumbles in Week 3. This season-ending game certainly has the potential for costly turnovers, bringing Miami within the top-15 fantasy options or so. Still, this late on the season with so much on the line, it would be tough to trust an unproven Dolphins defense in your lineup no matter how enticing the matchup.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
