Dolphins Close To Acquiring Josh Rosen
6 years agoThe Miami Dolphins are close to acquiring quarterback Josh Rosen from the Miami Dolphins on Friday, and a deal might be tentatively done, according to multiple sources. The Cardinals would receive the No. 48 pick from Miami. Rosen wasn't expected to stick around after Arizona made Kyler Murray the No. 1 overall pick in the first round on Thursday. It's a cheap and decent move for the Dolphins, as veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick was tops on their depth chart under center. Rosen was awful in his rookie year in the desert behind a terrible offensive line. It's unclear if he'll start right away in Miami, but he should be considered the favorite over Fitzmagic. A change of scenery should help the 2018 first-round pick, but he won't have a ton of aerial weapons around him and will be, at best, a weak QB2 selection.
