Dodgers Sign Daniel Zamora To Minor League Deal
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have signed relief pitcher Daniel Zamora to a minor league deal. The 28-year-old appeared in four games for the Seattle Mariners last year, pitching to a 6.23 ERA and a 1.385 WHIP over 4 1/3 innings. The Mariners wound up designating him for assignment in June. Zamora had some strong minor league numbers while he was in the Pittsburgh Pirates' and New York Mets' organizations. However, his big league career has been uninspiring. He'll have a long road toward earning a role in the Dodgers bullpen this year.
