Dodgers Reportedly "Showing Interest In" Mitch Haniger
2 years agoAccording to a tweet from MLB Network's Jon Morosi on Monday morning, the Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly interested in free-agent outfielder Mitch Haniger. Morosi tweeted the following: "Sources: #Dodgers and #Angels showing interest in free agent OF Mitch Haniger. The #Rangers, as first reported by @Ken_Rosenthal, also are among the most active suitors for Haniger. Of note, Haniger has a career .846 OPS at Angel Stadium. @MLBNetwork @MLB." The outfielder appeared in 57 games for the Seattle Mariners last season, hitting .246 with a .308 on-base percentage and 11 home runs in 247 plate appearances. As of now, Los Angeles' outfield options on the 40-man roster include Mookie Betts, Trayce Thompson, Jonny DeLuca, Andy Pages, James Outman, and Chris Taylor.
