2 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers and starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw agreed to a one-year, $20 million dollar contract on Monday, per the team's Twitter account. The future Hall of Famer has spent all 15 seasons of his career with the Dodgers and will stick with them for his age-35 season. Kershaw was sharp as always when he did pitch in 2022, going 12-3 with a 2.28 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and 27.8% strikeout rate in 22 starts and 126 1/3 innings pitched. However, injuries have prevented him from making at least 30 starts since 2015, which has put a relative damper on his overall fantasy value. Kershaw remains one of baseball's top starters on a start-by-start basis, which means he still offers high fantasy value even if he only makes 20-25 starts.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
