Dodgers Looking At Garrett Cooper
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have been looking at Miami Marlins All-Star first baseman/outfielder Garrett Cooper (wrist), but teams in the Juan Soto sweepstakes might wait to act on other hitters. Cooper also just landed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a right wrist contusion after he was hit by a pitch last Saturday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 31-year-old won't be back until after the Aug. 2 trade deadline, but he could certainly help an already strong Dodgers lineup down the stretch if he's healthy. In 84 games for the Fish this year, Cooper has a slash line of .279/.347/.426 with seven home runs, 40 RBI and 28 runs scored in 337 plate appearances.
