2 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers declined relief pitcher Jimmy Nelson's $1.1 million club option Tuesday, per MLB's Thomas Harrigan. Nelson underwent Tommy John surgery in August 2021 and did not pitch in 2022, but recorded a solid 1.86 ERA and 37.9% strikeout rate in 29 innings pitched out of the bullpen prior to the surgery. The 33-year-old has a serviceable career 4.12 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 21.8% strikeout rate, so he will try to join a team in need of some bullpen support.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
