DL Hall Throws Live Session On Sunday
2 years agoBaltimore Orioles left-hander DL Hall's (back) live batting practice session on Sunday went "extremely well," and he has another one scheduled for Tuesday at spring training. If his session on Tuesday also goes well, the Orioles are hoping to get Hall into a Grapefruit League game. The 24-year-old southpaw is building himself up as a starter, but it remains to be seen if he'll be ready for Opening Day in a starting role. Baltimore has yet to decide whether they want to use Hall in a relief or starting role for the majority of the 2023 season. Hall has great stuff on the mound, but he's been unable to control it consistently. He allowed nine earned runs on 17 hits while walking six and striking out 19 in 13 2/3 innings in his first taste of the majors in 2022.
