3 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf struggled due to the rain last week, but he has a chance for a big fantasy outing in Week 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Metcalf leads the team in targets since quarterback Geno Smith took over the starting duties when quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) went down with an injury. He also scored the team's lone touchdown last week thanks to his big-play ability on a long reception in the first quarter. The Jaguars have given up 289 or more yards in all but one game this season, and they don't generate many turnovers. With the Seattle running backs banged up, Metcalf should see a sizable workload and put together a strong week. There's more volatility with him as long as Smith is under center, but Metcalf should at least be a WR2 play this week.--Gage Bridgford - RotoBaller
