DJ LeMahieu Showing Signs Of A Rebound For 2022
3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu has started off the young season on a positive note after an injury-plagued 2021 campaign. The 34-year-old has posted one home run, four RBI, and three runs scored while slashing .306/.405/.444 through 11 games. The three-time All-Star is also boasting career-highs with a 7.1% barrel rate, 55.6% hard-hit rate, and xSLG of .513 over his first 46 plate appearances. LeMahieu is a candidate for the occasional off day, though, as the Yankees' tendency to rest players dings their players' values a touch. So long as the Bronx infielder is in the lineup, he should see be a solid contributor capable of a 150+ R/RBI season with a strong batting average.
