3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu is not in the starting lineup for Game 3 of the team's season-opening series against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday. LeMahieu started each of the team's first two games of the year and went 1-for-5 with a home run and two walks. He batted fifth in the order in both games, playing second base on Friday and third base on Saturday. For Sunday's game, Gleyber Torres is covering second base with Josh Donaldson at third. There's going to be some lineup shuffling for the Yankees early on this year unless injuries force someone key out of the lineup. LeMahieu should be in the lineup most games, but expect him to sit at least once per week for now.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
