DJ Chark Jr. Should Be Big-Play Target
1 year agoCarolina Panthers rookie first-round quarterback Bryce Young and wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. (hamstring) have connected down the field often in training camp this summer. Chark's size-speed combination made him a second-round pick in 2018 by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he's been plagued by injuries outside of his Pro Bowl season in 2019. Although Chark is dealing with a hamstring injury right now, the Panthers are confident offseason surgery fixed a foot issue that has bothered him the last two years. If he can stay healthy in his first year in Carolina, he could emerge as a deep threat on a team lacking a true No. 1 pass-catcher. The 26-year-old is going to have to get healthy before the regular season, though, and prove it with some nice performances early in the year for most fantasy managers to want to consider plucking him off the waiver wire.
