Diontae Johnson Sees Just Four Targets In Week 4
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson caught just two of his four targets for 11 yards and added two carries for 11 yards in a 24-20 loss to the New York Jets in Week 4. The four targets are the fewest Johnson has seen all season and one would have to go back to Week 5 of the 2021 season to find the last time Johnson saw fewer targets. Of course, it bears mentioning that Johnson's slow outing came with rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett under center for the entirety of the second half. Pickett seemed to zero in on fellow rookie George Pickens, who finished with 102 receiving yards. This is a cause for concern for fantasy managers rostering Johnson. For now, he can remain a WR2 in fantasy for Week 5's matchup against the Buffalo Bills, but if he has another game as he did in Week 4, it will be time to sound the alarms.
