Spencer Dinwiddie Flirts With Double-Double Despite Loss
7 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie flirted with a double-double in a Wednesday night loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Dinwiddie scored nine points and dished out 12 assists while committing zero turnovers in what was another strong performance for the fourth-year player out of Colorado. Dinwiddie has really grown his game this year to a new level and has become a gem for Sean Marks as the Nets are in the midst of a grueling rebuild process. Help is on the way in the form of D’Angelo Russell coming back from a knee injury, but head coach Kenny Atkinson has said both will start together in the back court, so expect Dinwiddie to keep tallying up the excellent assist numbers with a potent scorer on his side.
