Dinelson Lamet Leaves Start in Second Inning With Trainer
7 years agoJust hours after being confirmed as the starter for the Padres' second game of the season, San Diego Padres starting pitcher Dinelson Lamet had a quick exit against the Mariners on Sunday, walking off the mound with a trainer after facing six batters. There is no word yet as to whether it is a serious injury or if it is simply an abundance of caution with how close it is to the regular season. Lamet has the best potential this year out of the Padres rotation, so any owners who were looking to add him should keep a close eye on this situation.
