Dillon Brooks Gets Going With A 30-Point Effort
2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard/forward Dillon Brooks found his shooting form on Saturday, netting 30 points in a 124-123 loss to Utah. He shot 12-for-20 from the field with a 4-for-7 effort from downtown. Brooks' work included two rebounds and four assists with three steals and two turnovers in 29 minutes. The 26-year-old, who played his third game of the season, took full advantage of Ja Morant's (illness) absence, putting up nearly twice as many shots as he had in his first two outings combined. Tyus Jones also benefitted from the situation, entering the starting lineup and getting a nice 23-point, 10-assist double-double. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on Morant's status ahead of Monday's rematch with the Jazz. Brooks and Jones are set for another productive night if Morant isn't able to make it back.
