1 year agoHouston Rockets forward Dillon Brooks was ejected on Tuesday night just five minutes into their preseason game when he hit Daniel Theis in the groin area. The NBA announced that Brooks was fined $25,000 for "recklessly making contact." With Brooks' style of play, this whole situation doesn't come as a big surprise, but his defensive toughness and demeanor are something that the Rockets have been looking for ever since they started their rebuild. Fred VanVleet will be the floor general on offense while Brooks will likely be the defensive leader. He should get plenty of opportunities on his new team and should be of decent value in the mid-to-late rounds of a fantasy draft.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
