Diego Castillo Records His Fifth Save On Saturday
2 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Diego Castillo closed out the team's 2-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday to earn his fifth save of the year. He ran into some trouble in the ninth inning, allowing two hits and a walk, but he didn't allow any runs to score. This was Castillo's first save since June 8. Meanwhile Paul Sewald, who leads the team with nine saves, has gone 5-for-5 in save chances since June 8. Castillo isn't a must-roster player in leagues where saves are highly-coveted at this point, but he'd be a priority add if anything were to happen to Sewald.
