Didi Gregorius Snaps 0-for-25 Streak on Saturday
6 years agoAfter going 0-for-25 over his last six games, Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius got his first hit in over a week on Saturday, hitting a single in the fifth inning for the lone hit in his 1-for-6 performance. So far in May, Gregorius is hitting .132 with five strikeouts to drop his season batting average by 55 points. Signs point to Gregorius breaking out of his slump soon though, as his 0.152 BABIP in April is unsustainable and will trend back upwards in the near future.
