Didi Gregorius Smacks Grand Slam In Loss
6 years agoWhile the New York Yankees suffered an ugly 10-5 defeat to the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night, the continuing improvement of shortstop Didi Gregorius was a bright spot. The 28-year-old, who's slowly returning to full-time status, smacked a grand slam in the sixth inning, cutting his club's giant deficit to five runs. This came after he recorded an RBI double in Monday's victory, with this being the first time he starts in consecutive games since returning from a disabled list stint that came as a result of a heel injury. As one of the most important hitters in the lineup, he should return to full-time starter soon, meaning he will once again become a big fantasy player.
